KeyGuard PDF operates on a zero-knowledge architecture. This means:

• We do not have access to your encryption keys
• We cannot decrypt your documents
• We cannot recover your data if you lose your encryption keys
• You are solely responsible for key management and backup

5. Data and Privacy

Your documents are encrypted locally on your device before any data is transmitted. We do not have access to the contents of your encrypted documents. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle your data.

6. Limitations of Liability

KeyGuard PDF is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data resulting from lost encryption keys
• Unauthorized access to your documents due to compromised keys
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use KeyGuard PDF:

• For any unlawful purpose
• To store or transmit illegal content
• In any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Application
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks

8. Intellectual Property

The Application and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by KeyGuard PDF and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Application after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
